We took a trip up to Cedar Point in June,2008. I now see why Cedar Point is known as the Roller Coaster Capital of the world.
This trip was a week of camping with my friends the Z-family and the Hammer Family. We had a great time and I couldn't ask for better friends to camp with!
We stayed at the Shelby/Mansfield KOA which was about 45 minutes south of Cedar Point. This was a nice and well kept camp ground that I was very happy with. I would suggest staying in the older section as they recently added some newer pull-through sites that don't have any trees or shade. There were plenty of activities in the campground to keep the kids busy and they seemed to have a good time.
Some of the things we did while we were there included visiting the Kingwood Center and Seneca Caverns. Both of these were a good time and worth checking out.
Below are some pictures of the trip and my buddy Rob has a lot more on his site which you can find here.
